Set up Azure (free F0 tier)

  1. Create an Azure “Speech” resource, pricing tier F0 (free).
  2. Cloudflare Pages → Settings → Variables and Secrets: add AZURE_SPEECH_KEY (secret) and AZURE_SPEECH_REGION (e.g. uksouth).
  3. Redeploy. The key stays on the server; the browser only talks to /api/assess.
